Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

**anyone have direct TV?**
we just got it and I dont see the difference really...ok the picture is clear and all but it seems to me most of the channels have infomercials on most of the day...we have the "best package" for three months but if this is their best...I'd rather go back to twc...(I would really like to get rid of cable all together and just use hulu and netflix...)

I've had it in the past and was underwhelmed. It was before HD and all that but still.
I'm like you and want to ditch cable altogether (time warner drives me nuts). I wish we could do ala carte cable because there are a few channels I'd love but most of it goes unwatched, and for the $ I can't justify it. We've been talking about ditching cable and going hulu, we already stream with netflix,etc.
