cake update

so jax, what kind did you get?

my coworker whose party was sat brought me a piece of pineapple upside down cake today - love her! lol.

Re: cake update

  •  Yum!! That's so nice of your coworker!

I ended up getting carrot cake. The supermarket near our house sells "snack cakes" they have like 3 servings per container (it's one really big piece). I was proud of myself for only having half.

It was good and did the trick! I did however feel the need to buy tostitos, queso, and reduced fat oreos while I was at Shaws...I want my fruit and fruit smoothie craving to come back (actually...hmmm that sounds good..) so I can STOP with the crap food!

  • I've been craving a fruit smoothie for days, and can't figure out where  to get one near my house.

Reduced fat Oreos? The concept frightens me.

I was just going to ask how these are.  Let us know when you try.

I bought the reduced fat Chips Ahoy once.  They were fine, they just tasted very hard IMO.

I've had them before. They are good- they're really no different than the full fat ones taste wise IMO. But I'm also used to low fat/reduced fat foods, so if you're not, it may be different to you?

  • Yeah, I avoid the reduced-fat stuff.  I might try it, but I'm likely to taste the difference.  I'm better off eating 3 regular Oreos than a whole row of the skinny ones (and yes, I've been known to eat a whole row of Oreos in one sittting).
