donuts... to sit on, not eat

You know what I mean? Where do you buy those? I fell down a flight of icy stairs yesterday, and I'm in absolute agony, I can't sit or walk or bend over. I need to send Clint to buy me a donut so that I can at least sit in class today and be able to drive to my job interview tomorrow evening without being in excruciating pain. But where do I tell him to go?

Re: donuts... to sit on, not eat

  • They should sell them at any pharmacy or CVS, Walgreens, etc.

    Yes

Anyway, I would think any major drug store would have those, right?

    Umm...me too!

Wamo, that sounds painful!  I would have him start with a drugstore, but if not, any medical supply store should have it.  I know there are some in the Worcester area because of UMass nearby....I *think* there might be one on Rt 9 near Shrewsbury, but I'm not 100% sure if I'm imagining it (it might be just a place that sells scrubs/uniforms, I've never really paid attention).

    Hope you feel better soon!

  • thanks, ladies. He's going to run over to CVS in a little while. The one by our house is huge, so they should have everything. Fortunately, I found that our dining room chairs are pretty comfy so I'm doing ok for now- they have a big dip in the middle because of how the cane is woven, so they're fairly donut-like.

  • Oh no!  I'm so sorry to hear that.  My mom chipped her tailbone the same way (ouch) and had to get one from the medical supply store nearest to our house.
