So, Ella is doing the paintings for her and Jovie's room. Right now she is just using a brush for base color, but once that dries I would love to have her do some texture. I will be cutting up a sponge, but what other common household things can I use to create texture on her paintings? Thanks!
Re: Creative peeps come in!
a lid, a fork, cotten ball, cork, banana peal, glitter,
ETA- Glue, if you have her squirt it on the paper, then paint over it...
My mom will use cut fruits and veggies with her kiddos.
I'm drawing a blank on what else they've recently used. They can get quite creative some days!
Wad up a piece of paper and use it like you would the sponge?
What kind of paint are you using and is it working well for her? I have some small canvases I bought years ago and I thought about letting Nicholas loose on them.
