Lunch today is at http://www.table-31.com/.
Dinner tonight - leftovers...probably either mushroom barley soup or a slice of pizza.
Food at reception: hotdogs, hamburgers, grilled chicken, tomato salad, coleslaw, potato salad, regular garden salad. No photos.
WFL WFD is not exciting for me but my MIL is coming in March and I just made reservation to Berns Steakhouse in Tampa. It's some really fancy steak restaurant that is know world wide. I've only eaten in the dessert room which is super YUMMY!!!!
Funny you asked about food at the reception. last night i was thinking I would love to go to a wedding with the same food we had at ours because I didn't get to really eat any of it and everyone said it was really good.
Lunch - turkey and cheese on a sandwich thin, sunchips, water
Dinner - crab and corn chowder I think
Cocktail hour - veggie potstickers, some type of shrimp I can't think of, cheese, crackers, fruits
Nope, no pics. I'm pretty sure everyone have scarfed all of it down before the photographer even got there.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
L: Samich with ham & cheese, salad with Asian sesame dressing and an apple.
Cocktail hour food: Ummm...trying to remember. Bruschetta, stuffed mushrooms,
Dinner: Chicken, beef, cesar salad, green beans, fresh fruit, bread.
Berns is phenomenal. Fabulous fabulous steak and impeccable service.
Lunch: I'm thinking dumplings
Dinner: Chicken paninis
Cocktail Hour: I have no idea what we had. I know I picked it out. I know there was a ridic display. I know I made them give me a platter of cocktail shrimp in the bridal suite that I devoured as my BMs, Mother, Gma and H all tried to bustle my dress.
Reception Food: Ooooh. H and I actually managed to eat our food! We had caesar salad as the first course, penne in vodka sauce for the second, raspberry sorbet for intermezzo (my cousin had five of these) and I had chateaubriand as the entree. I think H did too. It was amazing. I think we also had salmon and stuffed chicken breast as other options.
The Princess of Anything is Coming!
Had a dream I was queen.
Woke up. Still queen.
L) plain old sliced chicken breast on flaxseed and oatbran pita

Blog
Lunch - half of a chicken salad wrap with lettuce, onion, tomato
Dinner - either American Chop Suie made with ground turkey instead of beef or BLTs
Cockail hour was: clam chowder station, crab cakes, bruchetta, cheese and crackers and fruit table, oyster confit served in a spoon, stuffed mushrooms
Dinner was either roasted chicken stuffed with apples and brie, New York Sirloin with a black peppercorn sauce, or pan seared salmon served with herbed pinot noir sauce. Grilled vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, warm rolls. Salad was a nice green salad with blue cheese, cranberries, etc. No pics I can post on my work comp =(
H and I made it a point to sit and eat dinner and I'm SO happy we did. I was so impressed with everything. The food was one of the most important things to me when planning the wedding and it was really, really good.
L: turkey and cheese sandwich on wheat with a clementine and strawberries
We just had hor'dourves and I really can't remember everything...meatballs, fruits and vegetables, i think some chicken or sandwiches, some kind of soup or dip that was supposed to be really good. Um idk what else
Blog
I know we have live here for 3 years and I haven't been. I have heard it is also a good bang for your buck.
L: fast food (yuck, it wasn't even good)
left over enchiladas and rice!
Wedding food: cocktail hour: mini hamburger sliders (with cheese, grilled onions, and some type of mayo thats the caterers secret), massive cheese and fruit display, and dark chocolate brownies with peanut butter frosting!
Dinner: this is hard to remember.....green salad, then brisket, smoked turkey, chicken, with "not the norm" cole slaw, potatoe salad, and bbq beans. I think I am forgetting a side but I can't remember what it is.
lunch - a low-calorie clam chowder that was NOT enough, so I supplemented with a fruit, cheese and nut plate a little bit ago
dinner - BBQ pulled chicken on a roll
wedding food:
cocktail hour - 6 passed: veal marsala crostini; mini beef Wellingtons; crab and wild mushroom beggar's purses; wild mushroom, chicken, and fontina mini pizza triangles; mini Peking duck rolls; jumbo cocktail shrimp (Jeff's must-have). Stationary: antipasto display, fruit display, and 'Mediterranean spreads' (hummus, baba ghanoush, and some other stuff) with veggies and pita chips
dinner: creamy wild mushroom soup, salad (mixed baby greens, mandarin oranges, red onions, some other stuff with lemon poppyseed dressing), dual entree of filet mignon with cognac wine sauce and chicken Normandy (it was stuffed with mushrooms, pecans, Gouda, and maybe something else) with red roasted potatoes, asparagus and yellow squash
We also had the wedding cake, international coffee station, and a chocolate fountain. I wish we had more pictures of the food, but the only pics I have are of the stationary apps, which are the only thing at the wedding that I didn't get a chance to taste. I was so glad our DOC brought a tray of the passed apps out to us while we took pictures, because no one let me eat a bite during cocktail hour. Thankfully we did a sweetheart table, or I don't think we would have gotten to eat dinner, either.
