We were right under the weather band last night. It rained plenty at our place, but no ternader sirens.
My parents house was right in the bad weather tho. My Dad was huddling in the basement/laundry room with the dogs. I'm glad he was home with them! Their rhodesian ridgeback is a giant #&$$*. She's afraid of her own shadow, so I know those sirens freak her out!

Morning. Our house was in the middle of the storms yesterday afternoon too. I heard about the tornado warning and called DH, to see if he was at the house. I could hear the sirens blaring in the background. He didn't go to the basement until it started hailing. A neighbor posted video of the rain blowing around sideways in different directions along with golf ball-sized hail.
The sirens went off a few times at work (Kennesaw) and he had heavy wind & rain, but that was it. I get storm-scared, so I was nerve-wrecked as I stared out the window and checked weather.com furiously.
And somehow I was logged in under a very old screen name!

Is it wrong that I kind of feel invincible? Hmmm.. it's not really invincible.. more like I think lightening can't strike the same place twice. I have already been through 1 tornado, so I feel like it won't ever happen again to me. We were south of where most of the strong storms were yesterday. I hope everyone made it out unscathed from the storms yesterday!
good morning ladies! we got a lot of rain, and some thunder/lightning, but nothing too bad thank goodness. i'd have been a mess alone with the dogs and bad weather.
i think one dog has separation anxiety or something...he was fine at my parent's house sunday, but he's been moping since then...he usually runs around outside, and he's just been going out, peeing and coming in and laying on the floor. and he's making sad eyes at me and i don't like it!!
