Re: PIP your dream house
Every time we watch HGTV, and they show a craftsmen style home, I go nuts. I love those things!
Yeaaaa... I'm pretty much a creepy stalker when it comes to this. I don't really have a "dream" home, but we do have a home that we intend to make ours in a few years so it's our dream-to-reality home.
This is the actual home. I zillow the sh!t out of it monthly. We know who currently resides there so we keep minimal tabs on her health LOL All joking aside, we will make this our home before I'm 40.
Right now it's valued at $650K
114,127 sq ft / 2.62 acres - 6Bd, 4.5Ba, lake-front
When we buy a house it MUST have a large porch, and I like houses with 2 floors. I also love ornate trim (reminds me of a doll house)

I want a little stone cottage

This! $650K would buy a fixer-upper in our current neighborhood. That's why we bought in a different one

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermIt's in my hometown in South Jersey. To give you an idea of our local housing market, this home was $950K in Nov 08.
It's dropped significantly and has been hovering around that $650 mark the last few months so I'm hoping it stays there.
I want a farm house with about 4-5 acres of land:
Please disregard the random alpaca. I have no desire to raise alpaca. I do, however, have an interest in creating a small herb garden and raising pygmy goats:
So I can use their milk and the herbs to make bath and body products that I can add to my candle line. With any luck, one day, it'll be a reality.
I have a very Odd Dream home, it's consistent of buying an old missile silo from the cold war and turning it in to a home, with a smaller home on top. Only problem is there are only a few missile silos left, and they want about 2.3 Million dollars for one.
So I'll have to settle for something more like this...it's more in our price range of way under 2.3 million lol
That's hilarious! Matt wants the exact same thing.
My dream house is out in the country with a few acres so I can get another horse and Lance can have some cows (I just want cows for the babies, so cute!)

This is actually our friends house, I am too lazy PIP, sorry
This is our dream home. It is about 8 blocks SW of where we live now. I fell in love with it when walking the dog one day. We drive by it periodically and dream. It is in absolutely HORRIBLE shape, this is the best pic I could get off the internet, everything is so overgrown. We would love to get our hands on it and make it beautiful again. It is a historic home so I am really suprised the city has let the homeowners let it fall into such a state. Unfortunately it is on the river so even though it is in bad shape it is probably automatically out of our price range when it goes up for sale. I made Ken promise that we could at least look at the inside when it goes for sale, whether or not we can afford it.
My dream home would have to come as a packaged deal, to include a full-time maid. This particular home is $3.9 million, 6 bedroom, 9 bath, 12,883 sq. feet.
From the front:
The amazing backyard.
Gigantic kitchen:
Oh, and one kitchen isn't enough. There has to be a second...with a hibachi grill.
And a huge laundry room:
It also has a large theater, indoor batting cages, and other cool stuff. I have house envy every time I see it. It's a sick hobby of mine to search realtor.com for homes, even though we aren't in the housing market right now, and are definitely not in the market for a multi-million dollar home.
Jason and I would love a small simple house with a large porch. This isn't exactly our dream house, but something like this would be nice...
He gets a
for that!
