Let's start back in 2004. My then boyfriend Z and I were at a party with people we went to high school with...including Leein Hinkley (the guy just charged with attempted murder for stabbing two people.) Leein called my girl friend a bad name. Z jumps over the table and knocks out Leein. Somehow Z, the girl friend and I end up giving Leein a ride home that night. Leein was in the back seat of my car. The next day I was cleaning out the back seat...and found a switchblade where he was sitting. 6 years later HE STABS TWO PEOPLE.
Seriously.
Add him to the list of 4-5 people that I went to high school with that are now convicted of murder or attemped murder.
Oak Hill High School- don't drink that water!
Re: WTF Sabattus/Lewiston People
This post made me laugh, which I realize now may not be normal.
You sure know a lot of murderers!
haha, it made me laugh also!
Me too! And I think that stabbing happened in my town, haha, Androscoggin county FTW.
I've had a murderer in my back seat too...
After college, I worked in a group home for abused/neglected kids. One of my residents later went on to strangle and stab his pregnant girlfriend nine times when she tried to break up with him. She was a student at the school where DH was teaching during that time.
My Wedding Bio! Not updated in a LONG time!

that's crazy.
my highschool is the opposite- we've had five people in our class die in car accidents in the past 13 years. Our class was only 116 people.
Preston will be starting high school at Oak Hill in a few years!! Talk about a very nervous parent!! LOL I don't hear too many things that are positive that come from that school!
And it did make me kinda chuckle and it is very crazy!!

Interesting... When I did my school nurse rotation, I went to Oak Hill high school. There were a LOT of kids with some bad situations at home and kids who had strong, positive parental involvement were in a clear minority.
I have to think that has a lot to do with it...
I do know, however, that clearly you have made some very good choices in your life to have gotten away from all that!
Incidentally, we had a kid in my high school-- a private prep school in fancy pants CT-- who was arrested for amassing an arsenal of illegal firearms (machine guns, bazooka, etc.) in connection with some militia men. He was caught when he tried to order a letter to be printed on school stationery from the store the school ordered from and the owner was pretty sure that the kid was NOT on school business, considering that the letter contained all sorts of racist and anti-semetic bullcrapola. (My school is at least half Jewish and has a program to recruit inner-city kids!) It also turns out, he had threatened to kill my father in a rampage at the school for "letting" the school suspend and then kick him out.
So I'm thinking crazy doesn't discriminate-- crazy happens everywhere and in all walks of life...
