I deleted because DH decided he wanted to go local, so we're going with SunTrust.
On another note, who do you all have for homeowners/flood insurance? I'm having a beast of a time finding companies who write in FL!
Re: I DD'd, but another ?
Wow, I've never not had someone to recommend before.
I would recommend going with an independent agency who can shop your policy with multiple carriers to find the best rate.
Dh and I have homeowners through USAA, but I don't think they are writing policies in FL anymore.
& trust me, there are PLENTY of financially stable companies still writing homeowners' insurance in Florida. They just don't have national name recognition like State Farm, Nationwide & Allstate.
Actually, they aren't, but they have an affiliate they work with who's writing them, and they serve them. So I do have a quote from them, but I hate to just take the first one I'm given.
I didn't think of the independent agent thing. I'll look into that. Thanks!
"My 101 List - Updating asap, I swear!
GL!
We have FL Farm Bureau, but at the time we bought our house, they were not writing policies for houses as old as ours. However, they said if we would bring them our car insurance and life insurance business, they would make an exception
Isn't buying a house fun!?
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
