I just saw Brooke's post about the yummy enchilada stack that sounds amazing! I am also crock pot cooking today but just making chili, so nothing too excited.

What are snowflake rolls??
I knew someone would ask that and I really don't know...haha! But don't they just sound really good???
They sell them at our local grocery store...they're just soft, white rolls with flour or something dusted on top. They're really tasty, or at least were last time we had them. Hopefully they won't disappoint tonight.

Ha, Ash, totally wondered the same thing.
We're celebrating the 40+ degree weather and grilling (on our Smokey Joe, not the big guy in my pp). I put chicken in marindate last night and then we'll have some rice and veggies with it.

I'm excited for my enchilada stack!! I just finished putting it together
I think we should all do a Crock Pot Tuesday, so I don't sound as crazy when I say this to other people, hehe.
I just decided to add a dessert to the menu. Here is what I am making:

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermOh, I love trifle!!! My grandmother makes it all the time - such a yummy, not-so-bad-for-you, easy-to-make dessert!
I think she just uses fresh, seasonal fruit, angel food cake, and cool whip with pudding, though...doesn't mix the cream cheese (which could really only make it better!).
Now I kind of want trifle, too!
Oh - and Crockpot Tuesday sounds great to me! I work from home on Tuesdays so it's perfect (I know the whole point of a Crockpot is to be able to leave it to cook, but I just don't like leaving things plugged in when I'm not home).

Tonight was supposed to be Chicken Parmesan, but the weather is a beautiful 70 degrees and I have the urge to be outside (an urge I rarely experience) so I think we are going to have dinner on a patio somewhere.
I want to do a weekly crock pot night, but I can't do Tuesday because SD is with us every Tuesday and we like to cook dinner together.
Tonight I'm making slowcooker pork with maple bbq sauce, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies.
There is one thing I hate about my slowcooker. If i happen to be home while it's cooking, it drives me bonkers. It smells so good and I can't eat until 7!
Same here!! Steve will put something in before he leaves for work in the afternoon... by the time I get home at 6, the whole house is smelling all yummy, and I have to wait 'till 8:30 for him to get home to eat! Well, I don't have to wait, but I do.
Sometimes I sneak a little :P It's important that the chef tastes it to make sure it's tastes ok, right? (but am I the chef or my slowcooker?)
HAHA I think you are in the clear... have to have "quality control" checks!
My problem is that Steve is the chef, not me! I only cook about once a week.
Brooke-What is chicken enchilada stack? Sounds fabulous! I would love if you could share the recipe
)
I am thinking about making showstopper chicken surprise (actually the name of the recipe!), but not 100% sure yet...
