Random, GC in envelope require xtra postage?
I want to mail a giftcard with a bday card...does anyone know if I need extra postage?
Re: Random, GC in envelope require xtra postage?
as long as it weighs 1 oz or less, it is just $0.44
up to 2 oz. is $0.61
Unless that is one heavy gc, I think $0.44 should cover it!
Same here!

is the gift card the size of a brick?
As long as it's underweight, and can fit through that little mail slot, then it shouldn't require extra postage. Now, I'll have to email you my address so you can send me that card :P

I should say, though, that I was very surprised about this random story from today...
When I was cleaning out Carter's room this weekend, I ran across some old newspapers from my high school (dated 1996-1998), one of which had Star Wars on the cover. My nephew is currently obsessed with SW characters (though he can't see the movie until he's at least 7), so I thought he might like it...plus, my sister wrote for the school paper when she was in HS several years before me.
Anyhow, I mailed that and a couple of pages of stickers, which weigh pretty much nothing, and it cost me 3 stamps! I mean, a high school newspaper isn't THAT many pages! I bet I could've gotten away with two if I hadn't asked...
