Travel time to Georgetown
I have to be in Georgetown (courthouse) before 9 in the morning. I will be coming from Metric/Parmer area. About what time should I leave to get there on time? Is 35 bad going north towards Round Rock/Georgetown?

I live in NW Austin, and occasionally have to go to RR for an 8am meeting. Traffic at that time on I35 is slow, but not stand-still. I take the tollway from MoPac to I35 north, and there is barely any traffic there (at 7:45am), so that saves me some time. HTH.

This sounds like a great idea!!! I've been really cutting back on my starbucks trips for budget reason, but I do believe this will be a day for celebration and deserves the splurge.
Thanks! Although I debated about this decision for quite a while (due to personal feelings on marriage), I truly believe this is the right decision and is the best outcome for all parties involved. Already I know I'm so much better off. I talked to him over the weekend and WOW did I pick a winner.

Your problem is not going to be 35, it's the courthouse! I live in Pflugerville and take the toll to 35 at La Frontera every morning and I get to Georgetown in 20 minutes. From the La Frontera area in Round Rock there is no traffic, no slow downs, nothing. I go 70 the whole way.
However, the court house parking situation right now SUCKS! The parking garage has a crack in it so it is closed. The only way to guarantee a decent parking spot is to get there by 8am. Anything after 8:15am, plan to park a block from the court house or be driving around for a while.
