Book rec, please. (inspirational/Christian)
Seriously, if it's not one thing with my family, it's another. My grandmother decided to learn how to play tennis late last week, and during her lesson she fell and broke one of her vertebrae. Needless to say, she is not going to be very mobile for awhile.
She likes to read, so I would like to send her a good book. I know that she particularly enjoys books with an inspirational or Christian bent. (She's Lutheran if it makes a difference.)
Do you guys have any book suggestions? Maybe one that was recently released in order to minimize the chance that she's already read it?
Otherwise, I think I'll just send her an Amazon gift card.

Oooh, I loved that one. She's probably read it though if she's really into Christian literature. Maybe something from Rob Bell?
Usually lurk as I don't have much time to post but happened to see this tonight in a reasonable amount of time to answer.
DH and I got a book called Heaven is for Real for his grandma for her birthday last month and she loved it. Devoured it in about two days. My MIL is reading it now and it's got stellar reviews on Amazon. We got it at Woodland's Barnes and Noble and it was selling fast. Link here.

I bought this one on my lunch hour. Hopefully she likes it.
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
