Shower invite question/opinion
Ok so I'm working on the design of the Invites for the baby shower I am helping to host. Someone else made the wording and they chose a rather long poem to
include, I'm trying to cut unnecessary info to save some space/money and fit
on a 5x7 sheet, rather than a folded invite
Do you think it is necessary to say that we are having Hors d'Oeuvres on the invitation? The time for the shower is 1:30-4.

No, I wouldn't include the food on the invite.
And a long poem, meh to that too.

No, I don't think it's really necessary to mention, I don't think I've ever noticed food mentioned like that on any invites I've gotten.
I'm throwing a bridal shower next weekend and we are saying "join us for a bridal shower brunch".
