Anyone have any plans to go out for Maine Restaurant Week? I need to find out when we can get babysitting from the ILs so I can make my plans! It's so conveinent that they hold this event every year for my and DH's birthdays.

Oooh, I saw one of the Azure chefs at the L.L. Bean Food Festival this summer - I'm dying to go there.
We actually have friends arriving this Thursday, staying through the weekend, so I'm hoping we can make it to at least one or two places for some good deals. And if that doesn't work, we have MORE visitors come next Thursday...I don't know why these people wait until snow season to drive up here.
YES!!! wanna double? :-) I'm totally serious.
We totally would but my guess is that you guys go to the Gritty's in Portland and we go to the one in Auburn
Wow. That's a great deal and the food sounds delicious!
I'm drooling over the whole lineup - so many places I would love to go if it was in the budget!
I have plans, I have plans! And I'm SOOOOO excited about it!
DH just booked us reservations at Vignola for this Saturday because a certain awesome fellow Nestie (who I need to circle back with about details and game night...) offered a sitter service swap. Not having to shell out for childcare services makes it a lot easier to say yes to a night out on a strict budget, even with the great Restaurant Week deals!
DH and I went to dinner and the U2 concert Sept '09 after James was born in July. Then for our 5 year last Oct, we took the day off of work for a daytime date. This is our first adult night date we've had since then- talk about overdue! And after this work week(s) from hell (not bad, just really really really busy) I am thrilled to get out for an evening.
I think we're also going to do family dinner out at Ri Ra midweek next week to take advantage of the good prices and try something else new. We figure Irish pub atmosphere will be conducive to an almost 20 month toddler!
You got it, sista! If anyone in Portland is up for a Gritty's night, let me know!
