Something I've always been confused about...when you write "xoxo" what is the "x" and what is the "o". I've thought "x" is hugs and "o" is kisses. Agree or disagree?

This.
Probably because of the saying "Hugs and Kisses" (Xs and Os)
ditto.
Yeah this is what I thought! That's funny - I would have never thought it was different!
Me too.
Welcome to the dark side
Hahahaha
Call me crazy, but I swear my first grade teacher taught us the opposite.
This is what I thought it was.

x is kiss. o is hugs.
I've never even considered it another way. The kissy face emoticon (typically) is :-* and a star is a lot like an x. That's not my reasoning, but I wanted to point it out.
You don't see people typing :-o to make kissy faces, they type that to make blowjob faces. So maybe xoxo is really "kisses and bj's"

OMG I really really needed this!! LMAO
Well I'm glad I asked this question!! So if I want to just say "hugs" without typing it out I would just say: "oo, Summer". That is so weird to me now - my world has been rocked!! (j/k).
Nick also agrees with o = hugs and x=kisses when asked. He says he never thought about it just makes sense. Whatever! And I can't believe Jackie learned this in 1st grade and I'm just now figuring it out!
BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
I tried to reply to this post last night, but my phone kept messing up. THIS. IS. HYSTERICAL. Mar - thank you for the never-ending laughs. You slay me.
LOL! "o" is for "adult kisses"!!
x = kiss. o = hugs.
