Getting a good workout and feeling strong afterward makes me happy.
What makes you happy?
My favorite place on earth: The Amargosa Valley.

Re: What makes you happy?
My volunteer work. Helping others makes me so happy. Especially days like today when a girl was almost in tears and gave me a huge hug after we provided her with a free ultrasound and she was able to see that she is expecting TWINS! So exciting! I can't get the smile off my face!
ETA: Duh! How could I forget? Those Silly Buns in my siggy make me Cuh-razy happy!
cuddling with DH
blooming flowers
seeing the neighbor's cat passing by our backyard
a sunny morning
I definitely love the endorphin rush after a good work out.
Love it when Bretta gets on my lap to cuddle and falls asleep instantly.
Love it when I can do something nice to surprise my H. He does so much for me that most of the stuff I do for him seems sub-par!
Waking up to snuggle with DH and the dogs.
Cooking. Just about anything.
Coming home to a clean house (currently, my garage makes me very happy because I cleaned it this morning.)
Fresh flowers in my favorite vase.
A great game of volleyball.
Spending time with friends and family.
Cuddling with DH.
(not necessarily in that order
)
The sun, the hug T gives me when I come home from work, a really great book, packing for a trip.
Warm, sunny weather. !!
Making Wedding/Anniversary/Birthday/Christening/etc cakes and being able to be a part of someone's life in such a special and important way.
Cleaning also makes me happy. Nothing like the smell of a freshly laundered home!
In no particular order:
tight hugs from the husband; scoring a great shopping deal; a nice, crispy french fry; feeling my baby move inside me; when one of the cats cuddles on my lap after kneading enough biscuits to feed the entire Russian army; my Snuggie
Definitely a good workout and feeling awesome after it
Getting acupuncture
Having DH make the most awesome dinner
Waking up seeing our two cats and my husband all sleeping soundly like a family.
Seeing two lines on an OPK (ovulation predictor kit) w/o taking IF medication
Seeing our cats run to the door and greet me every day after work makes me happy. They're always so affectionate from when I get in the door to when I go to bed.
Also, hearing from my doctor that I'm doing a good job with all the monitoring, that baby is measuring how she should and she did a great job during the NST yesterday makes me happy. It's good to know that my efforts are being shown through her development.
Rain. I love the sound, smell, sight, and feel of it. It's crazy, but when it rains I feel surprised, excited, and special... like someone just gave me flowers. Like it's raining just for me.
Sunsets... and any time light and clouds combine to make something beautiful. When the sky is just right on my commute home I spend the entire ride home in awe.
Reading books (well, on my Kindle). It's like traveling, being someone else, and peeking into a different world... all without having to move.
Women don't want to hear what men think,
women want to hear what they think, in a deeper voice
I love your own response. I haven't worked out since before Fudgie was born and I'm trying to work up my will power to join a gym again.
What makes me happy: besides my hubby and kid?
Photography, genealogy, baking (which brings me to my comment above
).
Lighthouse State Beach, Santa Cruz.
