SO and I have to being GR next weekend for a baby shower and figured we're make a night of it. If you were going to dinner, where would you go?
So far I am thinking about:
Toyko Grill
25 Kitchen and Bar
Red's on the River (I know, not GR but Rockford is close)
Input, anyone??
Re: Where to have dinner?
25 has been hit or miss for us. We've had really good food and service there and really bad.
Electric Cheetah, San Chez and Rose's are three of our favorites. I've also heard good things about Red's on the RIver.
We've been meaning to try Red's. One of our favorites is San Chez.

LOVE Tokyo Grill!!!!!!
Heads up, Next weekend is the first weekend for Laughfest so the downtown area will have a lot going on and 25 Kitchen is an "official" Laughfest Restaurant so you may want to check the Laughfest Calendar out.
I just figured this out! I was wondering why I couldn't get a reservation at the JW OR Amway. Geesh!
I've been to Red's a few times. It's always good, but pricey.
Green Well or San Chez.
Have fun!
San Chez and Green Well are good suggestions. I haven't been to Red's, but have heard good things.
We are really like the Twisted Rooster lately too. (It's on the East Beltline - where O'Charley's used to be).
I third the Green Well if you want to get out of the immediate downtown area.
We've heard good things about Twisted Rooster too, although we haven't been there yet.
We've been to Twisted Rooster once; it was a pretty crowded/busy night but the service didn't suffer because of it. They were very good with DS, too.

I LOVE Twisted Rooster. They have good deals during their happy hour, too! And I agree, they are wonderful with the kiddos.
