I like this bracelet from Banana Republic. They have it in a few colors.
2. Any vacations planned? None this year since we are doing so much to the house and there is only so much money. We will probably do a long weekend somewhere in the Southeast or maybe NYC later on in the year if we can afford it. We'll do the usual bike race weekends away throughout the year with our teams. We'll also probably go to Kentucky at some point to see his family (joy....not...).
3. Do you spring clean your house? Do you hire someone to do it for you? Yep! I am having the cleaning service in this week and will probably have them back again at the beginning of the summer.
4. Are you ready for winter to end? Yes.
5. Do you plant flowers in the spring or do anything in your yard? We will plant flowers after the last frost, so that they don't die. We put flowers in pots by the front door and in the garden by the driveway. We already have some flowering bushes.
6. Tell us something fun/exciting/different that you have done recently. My life sucks right now. I'm living in a construction zone. I spent Monday night wiping dry wall dust off of walls. Does that count as new and exciting?

1. Have you found anything cute to buy for spring? (home accessory, clothes, jewelry, etc.) I need to buy a dress for a wedding on Saturday.
2. Any vacations planned? DH is going to Turkey and GB for work. We're planning on taking a road trip out to Colorado for our 5th anniversary. Going to Disneyland in Sept for conference, and San Fran for DHs conference in Nov.
3. Do you spring clean your house? Do you hire someone to do it for you? Yes, I do it. I try to clean out the closets and wash the drapes, but other than that, it's just regular cleaning.
4. Are you ready for winter to end? I have really enjoyed winter this year. I'm not looking forward to allergy season. DH has terrible allergies.
5. Do you plant flowers in the spring or do anything in your yard? I have two windowboxes on the back porch (of the apt) that I plant. I also put out birdseed.

1. Have you found anything cute to buy for spring? (home accessory, clothes, jewelry, etc.) Oh yes. I went a little crazy at Target. They have/had so many cute clothes and even some accessories. For awhile now, I've been using pottery barn catalog pics to take to Michael's so I can replicate some of their arrangements for my living room. Cheaper and looks almost the same...
2. Any vacations planned? Yes, we are going to Sonoma to do some wine tasting and check out some of the foodie spots. We did Napa a couple of years ago and really loved it. Sonoma is supposed to be more laid back.
3. Do you spring clean your house? Do you hire someone to do it for you? We used to have a housekeeper every other week. But now that I'm SAHW, I am the housekeeper. I do light cleaning weekly, deeper cleaning bi-weekly and super duper stuff monthly so we don't really need a "spring cleaning" per se.
4. Are you ready for winter to end? YES, bring on the sandals and dresses
5. Do you plant flowers in the spring or do anything in your yard? i don't have a green thumb but DH will plant some vines and some herbs in pots on our deck. i love using the fresh herbs when i cook.

1. Have you found anything cute to buy for spring? (home accessory, clothes, jewelry, etc.) Actually, I found way too much! I just bought 2 new coats, 2 pairs of shoes, 3 dresses, and all new cushions for the patio!
2. Any vacations planned? We are going to SC to visit some friends from college this weekend and going to DC in May
3. Do you spring clean your house? Do you hire someone to do it for you? I don?t really spring clean, I more clean when and where needed. This year it?s needed everywhere and I will be doing it.

5. Do you plant flowers in the spring or do anything in your yard? We just ripped up our gardens in the back yard and made them about 1/3 the size. Hopefully this will be the last year we have to do anything massive to the yard. We have yet to tackle the front but perennials are my friends.
6. Tell us something fun/exciting/different that you have done recently. Thanks to a groupon, my DH convinced me to take tango lessons with him on Thursdays. So tomorrow will be week two.
1. Have you found anything cute to buy for spring? (home accessory, clothes, jewelry, etc.) Lots! I just bought this skirt and these ballet flats, which are sooo comfortable, (not to wear together) from the gap. I also bought this dress from Target (looks much better in person).
2. Any vacations planned? - Yes! Going to this cabin in Blue Ridge next month with a group of friends. I can't wait! Then I'm spending a week in NY visiting my family.

5. Do you plant flowers in the spring or do anything in your yard? We do a ton of spring planting. I have my seeds started inside for our veggie garden, plus herbs and flowers. We planted 4 trees last week and 2 blueberry bushes. Fun stuff!

i made these 2 things yesterday, and i've also been eyeing some awesome leather cuffs at target...and the dresses i posted yesterday

not fully planned...but we've talked about going to the beach one weekend when it gets warm, and we're headed to the beau rivage soon because they keep sending us free stays, and we might go to huntsville so my hubby the space nerd can check out the museum and rocket center there

no. we usually just take a day every few months to do more than our normal cleaning.

um...not really. i like my boots. a lot. i'd be cool with it being like mid 60's, but this 80 degrees in february biznass was out of control. it's already summer for soooooo long here.

well...we chopped a tree down last weekend. and we're going to take out the azaleas we planted 2 years ago that died, and replace them.

3. Do you spring clean your house? Do you hire someone to do it for you? HA. We (and I mean "DH") keep in clean in general. We need to nix a lot of boxes still from our move but other than that, it stays clean.
4. Are you ready for winter to end? spring cannot come soon enough. I'd like a tan. Not talking St Tropez here, just some Vitamin D. I do not look forward to being a snotty mess, but sitting outside, drinking margaritas = heaven.

But my bonus hits on Friday and DH and I have agreed that after paying off BofA (WHHHEEEEEEE!) we're going to buy an LCD/LED flat panel for the bedroom. I asked DH and he said the 32" CRT model was prob bought by his Dad in 1995.
Now that's a workhorse, huh??

I bought a cute "families are forever" mantel piece as well as some pale blue placemats and matching tablecloth

We are planning a Sandals vacation in July for our actual Honeymoon. We just married at the Jof P so this summer were going to have an official honeymoon

No personal yard but we have a nature backyard and the trees and plants will bloom and grow naturally. We may get some hanging porch plants but have not decided yet.

I went on a surgical trauma floor as a volunteer nurse in a hospital and it was an adventure.
