VENT: Halloween costumes are gross
I hate that Halloween has become the excuse for girls to dress like sluts. It's so disgusting. Since when do the only options resemble porn fantasies? Sexy nurse, sexy teacher, French maid?
Can't someone be a freaking ghost?!

See? She is an egg. Her husband was bacon. THAT is funny. I would much rather see that than a Disney character made slutty.
I couldn't agree with you more.... I have no desire to Disney characters all vamped up.
DH and I are going as thing 1 and thing 2 from the cat in the hat. And I can assure you that it will be funny instead of slutty!!!
So true..I heard last year a girl in Auburn went out downtown dressed as a Victoria Secret model...no joke, wearing a bra, panties and a set of wings...
I think it's fine and fun when parents dress up and have fun w/their kids w/it as I've seen some fun themes w/that but otherwise I just don't see the point in dressing up. Guess it's just me. I also think it's ridiculous (agreeing w/everyone else) for someone to use it as an excuse to dress slutty. ugh.
I have a party to go to Fri and I really don't want to dress up. I guess I'm just a party pooper, not creative enough, in the mood for it and think it's silly. Plus I don't want to spend money on something like that.
