What is your favorite kind of pen?
What does your new bag look like?
What products do you use on your hair?
What do you most want for your kitchen?
Stand up for something you believe in.
Hi. *waves*
I'm bored too. I have nothing to offer, but I don't want you to cry!
I'm currently procrastinating washing the pots/pans in the sink. I've been sick for 2 weeks and during those 2 weeks the P&Ps sat, stinking in the sink. Danny has loaded/unloaded the dishwasher 19 times and each time has complained that we have no clean P&Ps....WASH A DAMN POT ALREADY, HUSBAND!!! Now, I feel vindictive and want to just let them mold, but it's getting to the point that I think I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face.
Hooray!
What is your favorite kind of pen? Papermate Profile pens, preferably in black
What does your new bag look like? It's mostly dark gray canvas-y, white and black plaid-ish pattern/ Black leather accents and straps. I love it!
What products do you use on your hair? Biolage shampoo and conditioner, type depends on the time of the year. I use a super cheap (but awesome) Garnier gel-cream that retails for like $3.50. Love it.
What do you most want for your kitchen? pasta attachments for my KitchenAid
oh, I'm stubborn and would drag his booty to the kichen and make him wash them. We have a strict "I cook, you do the dishes" policy.
I couldn't even use that excuse. They've been sitting there for so long I have no idea what was even cooked in them. And I (still) don't have the energy to drag him anywhere. I think I am making him take me to Red Lobster this weekend because I have been drooling over the Lobster-Fest commercials for 3 weeks now. He hates sea food. This may be my come back.
Ok, here you go:
I know you're a pretty busy person. How do you find time to blog and take pictures of all the deliciousness you create? Sometimes I'm too exhausted to even hit the "on" button on my laptop.
Also, name one of your recipes that I should cook for H this weekend. No mammal meat, please.
Last, I jacked up the frosting for the raspberry lemonade cupcakes. I couldn't get it to sit up nice and fluffy. What did I do wrong?
Oh no! Between doing some busy work and lurking over at my September '10 Moms board, I totally missed this, and now I have to go get Sami.... sorry friend! =(

Blackened Mahi with Pineapple salsa. I'm actually making it this weekend too, with a copy cat of Chipotle's cilantro lime rice. Makes it feel like summer

. With any cream cheese icing, you have to make sure the cream cheese really is room temp, as in like no chill left on it hardly at all, or it stays a little chunky. Same with your butter. That's the only thing I can think of... Or was it too thin? Too much lemon juice maybe?
Did you have any water nearby? If your buttercream/ cream cheese frosting hybrid gets too much moisture it'll separate and turn icky.
Stand up for something you believe in.
Ooh the Blackened Mahi sounds awesome! And we have lots of fresh pineapple right now. (I had to look up mercury levels in mahi since I'm pregnant, but it looks like it's okay in moderation.) H would love this. Do you think it'd be good with any other types of fish too? I think we have some frozen fish fillets of some sort already...
As far as the icing, you might be right -- I think I did add extra lemon juice to it because it seemed a little thick. Oops. Will remember that "thick is good" next time.
Butting in, but maybe you should try tilapia. I keep tilapia filets in the freezer and love them with mango or pineapple salsa. Tilapia is lower in mercury content than mahi mahi.
ah, sorry I had to run and missed this! I actually do have a veggie soup recipe that would have worked... http://peaceloveandfrenchfries.weebly.com/1/post/2010/02/baby-its-cold-outside.html
Just throw the pasta in at the very end rather than cooking it in the soup.
took the words right out of my mouth. We're actually making it with tilapia this weekend.
