Facebook Page Admins

Any of you run a group FB page? I post an event for work and something happened that caused it to post before I was ready. No big deal...I'll just go to the Edit button and finish. Wrong...I can't find an edit button anywhere. So now I have an event on my work page sitting there with the wrong end time, no prices, and no picture. Ughh!

Re: Facebook Page Admins

  • I don't know if it's the same for events that individuals create, but on events that I've made previously there is an edit button.  You have to go to the event itself, then in the upper right hand corner you should see an "Edit Event" button next to an "Invite More Guests" button.
  • I think something is screwed up...there is no edit or delete button. I just tried clicking on the event again and it said the event is not currently working or somethign like that.
  • Even though I have two pages, I've never posted an event before so I can't help.  Have you tried searching the Facebook help feature?  I've found that to be relatively helpful in the past.

If you can't edit the event, is there a way to delete it and then you can post a new event?

I wonder if it's a glitch with the new page format?

  • I'm an admin for a FB page and that definitely sounds like a glitch (which I've been noticing a lot of lately!) If it is working properly the edit button should be located in the upper right hand corner of the event page. Good luck!
