Hey there 4-Eyes
I have had a lot of trouble driving at night lately, and my eyes are all burney and watery after I get off work from squinting at the computer screen all day, so I got my eyes checked about a week and a half ago and had to get glasses.
I picked them up yesterday after work and was feeling a little insecure about them... until Steve got home.
He walked in the door, saw me, and said "There's my sexy librarian wife!" and showered me with kisses 
I had not even told him that I was picking up the glasses.
I have the best husband ever

I've worn glasses since the 5th grade (it was the catholic school that did it to me, I believe. lmao) and so I think I look super weird without glasses, so I LOOOOOOVE my glasses. I just got some new ones last week, and still haven't taken pics like I promised I would. I need to do that.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI have worn correction since I was 15... I currently use both glasses and contacts, but not at the same time!
I sell glasses now (I recently took a new position at work!) and let me tell you... there are soooo many fun styles out there! Glasses are no longer just a medical device, they are accessories as well! All of the ladies I work with have several pairs that they rotate between, most of them are from our optical center...it's great advertising!
Oooh - I just remembered that I CAN pip my wedding glasses, even if I can't pip my current glasses right now. :-D

I looked at your flickr stream after the plus size bride post, and was thinking that your glasses were really pretty and looked good on you! lol
When I got my glasses, they were having a buy 2 deal, so I actually got 2 pair... I am still on the fence about the plastic frames I got, so I will post pics tomorrow of both and let you fantastic ladies decide.
Steve said I could always break the plastic pair and get them replaced with a different one (I have a 1 year warranty on both pairs)
Odd, that's what Zach tells me a lot. : ) Congrats on your new specks, from one (librarian) glasses wearer to another!
