So I chickened out..sorta haha. I talked to our office manager instead b/c my boss intimidates me a lot lol. Anyway, I used your girls approach and said that I was curious about my review since we hadn't done them yet, and how the doctor had spoken to me about learning more with the tech stuff but I had yet to be taught anything really and that I was concerned that since they were interviewing someone to fill the technician spot this summer if there was something that I hadn't done right that I could work on to better myself.
She was actually really nice about it and explained that they were just interviewing her as a formality sort of, and it was also potentially to hire her as back up in case I hadn't mastered everything that I need to in order to fill the tech's spot completely, like if I'm not 100% comfortable with horses...or with dental cleanings or something like that.
So I feel a lot better. Still hate the scooping poop part but hopefully that will change in a few months..hopefully! Thank you for all your advice ladies! I really really appreciate it!

Yay! I'm glad that you were able to talk to someone. I'd still talk to your boss when you do actually go over your review. As much as the office manager was able to calm your nerves about things, I'd also want to hear it straight from the boss. That's just me anyway.
But I'm super happy for you that it seems like things are still on the right track for you to get the tech position!!
i agree completely with lauren.

I do too, but I am so intimidated by my boss hahah. As long as I know I'm still on track then I dont mind waiting until we get around to the reviews!!
btw I got my own client to take care of today that was coming in for ear problems! I got to do the whole case by myself!! yay!!!
