Another rave for Spotless Shine (total plug)

A bunch of Nesties have/had/do use Spotless Shine for cleaning. I have to say again that they ROCK! Teresa is so great to work with. She and one of her ladies came to spring clean my house yesterday after all of the construction last week. The dust was killing me. They were able to work me in and did a great job! They are a bit more expensive than some cleaning services but are worth it.

...and now I don't have to clean for a few weeks.Yesss!!!

  • I'm having Teresa come to do my house next week. I'm excited!
  • I love Teresa!!!

  • I'm glad you all like them. I'm still annoyed they either a) don't come out to Woodstock; or b) don't care enough to freaking reply to an email. I emailed to ask if they would come up 575, she responded asking for the address, I provided it and I never heard anything back.

  • I think it might be better to call instead of email. When I called Teresa answered right away. But I feel ya on being annoyed they didn't respond. That pisses me off too.
  • I would be pissed as well. I am wondering if they have a crazy spam filter, because a few people mentioned trouble with emailing them and just like P&R said Teresa answers right away when I call as well. I don't see why they wouldn't go to Woodstock, I actually ventured out there for the first time to visit some friends and it wasn't nearly as far as I thought.

Anywho , I think you said you have a cleaning service so hopefully you are happy with who you have.

P&R if you want to giggle ask Teresa to tell you about her Bootcamp instructor who she beat in a Marathon. Everything is about 10 times funnier with her accent!!

  • I do have a cleaning lady come by every 2 weeks. She's the SIL of a co-worker and does a good job for a great price, but doesn't clean as deeply as we would like. We have her clean two levels of the house each week - either the upstairs or basement (both rarely used) and the main floor with the living areas and the master. It usually costs $60-80, depending on how long it takes. Someone else that used to use her is now using a different company, so I'm waiting to hear how she likes them and might switch too. They're in Canton, so I know they'll come to us.

We're very happy that the house is getting cleaned and our quality of life has greatly improved (less fussing and resentment on both our parts). DH would complain that I take too long and wants to do it all in a big hurry, using nothing but bleach. I complain that he's not thorough or isn't doing it right. I organize while I clean too, so it's always a huge ordeal that neither of us have time for. At least now it's getting cleaned regularly, and that's a major improvement!

... and yeah, our area of Woodstock isn't BFE by any means. We're off of Towne Lake, close to 575. It's more like "North Kennesaw." I get annoyed when we have to go somewhere with a Woodstock address and have to drive nearly to Roswell!

  • How much did she charge, and how long did it take? Thanks.

They give individual quotes, so my price wouldn't work for you. It took two of them 4.5 hours.
