It's the Year of the Rabbit...so my jbird became a jbunny :)
[Sorry DD'd the other post as I wrote it from kikijbird by accident...oops!] LOL, it's me, Kiki... trying out the new alter ego (since I can no longer access my siggy or avatar since the "botchdate"). It's a totally silly screen name, but then, look who's talking, right?
So I came up with this realizing, as you all commented, I don't want to lose the kiki part of my SN, but I was trying to find a way to reflect the next step of my journey... off the Knot, over to the Nest, and now on to the Bump as well. Meanwhile, a couple of weeks ago I was thinking about the baby's nursery and possible themes I could come up with. In the online game that DH and I play, Guild Wars, they had an event based on the Chinese New Year, where one of the prizes was a mini pet bunny (a "Celestial Rabbit" to be exact). Anyway, for some reason I thought they were the cutest things, and it hit me that my baby will be a Rabbit too (I'm a Dog, lol and DH is a horse... some genetic gymnastics there, huh?). So I'm hoping to do a bunny-based theme for the nursery (though I'm having a devil of a time figuring out how to pull it off - jungle/safari themes are the rage now, apparently, not forest friends). So the jbirds are going to hatch a jbunny... stranger things have been known to happen.
You gals are my test audience... I'm not sure how much I like it, but I can't think of anything else that works well, like TotallyLoCo, without totally changing my SN altogether.

Thanks Laurie! Now, here's a question.... I also made an account that is kikibunny, without the j... which do you like better? kikibunny flows better, but I wasn't sure if I needed the j to make it more "me"...

Haha that's cute!
I like the JBunny part - it sounds more like you.
Heh...I'm a rat. Good thing Laraine & Brady didn't do my room in my Chinese new year animal theme when I was born. LOL!!
Lori, Cindy, thanks! That's kind of what I was thinking (that the j is part of my identity) but I wanted to make sure it worked. Cool... I'll leave it.
Cindy, OMG lol, that's too funny... true, not all zodiac animals are nursery-friendly...
Ha, and our wedding anniversary is on Easter this year... so the bunny theme even works there... bunnies and birdies get along, right?

I absolutely love it! I think it fits perfectly! I like it with the "j" in better. It's more....YOU!
Ohh a bunny nursery. So original and fun! I can imagine you are having a difficult time finding things. I'll have to do some research for you!

Thanks Mel! Yeah, seems always the way, I think of something and can never find what I'm looking for because it doesn't exist... so DH and I are planning on maybe making some stencils for the walls (landlord will LOVE us, lol). I had found this perfect bedding set online, only to find out it's discontinued and can't be found even at resellers anymore.

This exactly! Love it and I love the idea of a bunny theme for the nursery - very cute.
Yay for Easter Anniversaries!!! And KiKi - what a cute picture in your siggy!
Hehe, thanks Stacy! I was psyched when I went through old pics my dad scanned for me to see one with a bunny in it... figured it was a good way to "introduce" my new self over on the May Mommies board.
