Wasn't all the snow melted by this time last year?
Or just about? I remember it was in March. I would like a repeat, please.
Re: Wasn't all the snow melted by this time last year?
Yes it was!! March was wonderful last year.
They way it sounds we are going to get another big storm early next week. I really have my fingers crossed that it will change and not get another 12" of snow.
Nooooo!!! Why can't it all just go away?
Tired after a long morning of hiking and swimming.
Yep one of my coworkers said yesterday that it was all melted by March 14
We are supposed to come back from Vegas on Wed morning but if this storm comes we may get stuck there for an extra day...darn
It said on the news the other night that on March 15th last year it was 65 degrees and, on March 31st, 75! This is in Duluth, so it was probably even warmer down in the cities.
It doesn't sound like we are going to be so lucky this spring!

At this rate, we'll still have snow in June.
I have a friend getting married May 7 ... in a park ... I think she better be prepared for snow on the ground. :-)

The only good thing about March is that it melts fast like Janell said.
I am just looking forward to DST starting next week - I need longer days for my 1/2 marathon training!
Even if I wasn't training, it's still one of my favorite days of the year.

I really hope the storm misses us. We are supposed to leave for Mexico Wednesday morning and if it screws with our travel plans I will be one unhappy traveler!
I guess I'm at the point where another snowstorm doesn't really matter to me.
Frankly, I just want Spring and I want my Snowdrops to come up. That's all. I planted 150 - 175 bulbs last year so I'm ready to know if any squirrels ate them or not!
DH is in TX right now for work and doesn't get back until 9:00 Wednesday night. We have a 7:00 am flight to Mexico Thursday morning. I'm double crossing all fingers and toes that the weather holds out. I NEED this vacation and do not want MN snow to ruin it...this coming from the person that usually loves snow.
Spring came very early, and winter came very late. It was an exceptionally long growing season....for Minnesota
