Mid week GTG's?

I mentioned in CW yesterday that we're trying to book our flight for the CA trip in May. Part of my reasoning for staying so long would be to have a free weekend to hang out and potentially GTG with some of you girls that were free. We have a wedding in Sebastopol the bookending weekend and I'm not sure I want to be there for a weekend and full week. Surprise This will be our last trip out there until the end of the year.

So I'm curious, if we were only there for a few days mid week, would anyone want to meet for dinner or are there sometimes mid week GTG's we could crash?

    I could but I'm pretty far from Sebastopol. Where were you thinking of meeting up with people?

    I would love to see you! Sebastopol is about an hour drive from where I'm at (without traffic) so that wouldn't work midweek, but if you could meet up somewhere else, maybe some midway point, that might work.

    I don't think there are official GTG's planned for May yet, but I'm sure we could plan one when you have more details about your trip.

    We'll be in Walnut Creek for the whole visit except the wedding weekend. And we'll definitely be open to drive to you if anyone is available at nights since we'll be on vacation.

    Oh I see. In that case, I'm totally fine driving to Walnut Creek after work on a weekday, or meeting up elsewhere that is convenient for people.

    I think I could do it depending on the day/time. DH has a board meeting and club meeting in Concord area so we could carpool and he can drop me off and then pick me up.

    What week in May are we talking here? We are traveling from the 7th to the 21st, but any other day that month I will gladly come out and see you. Sebastopol isn't far at all from me.

    We're going to look at tickets this weekend and see if I can make up my mind on the length of the visit. I'll let you guys know when we're booked and we can plan something as it gets closer.

    WO: We'll be in Sebastopol the weekend of the 21st-22nd for the wedding. Sounds like we'll just miss you. :(
