Re: first day with the DSLR (PIP)
GAWD I want a good camera so bad. I have lots of furry subjects I could take pictures of.
Those pictures look amazing!
Now I want a fancy camera...someone give me an excuse to buy one!
keb - Totes! ; )
I've only had it five hours, but I'm learning slow and steady. I'm having issues with focusing, so I'm going to spend a few hours with my owners manual and online resources.
Because get this -- I'm doing a newborn shoot tomorrow for my sister's bff. LOL. I'm sure her standards are low. Luckily what I lack in know how I can probably fake with some photoshop.

Those are really good. Way better than anything I have taken, and I've had mine 2 months! I don't have anything to take pictures of!
My kitties won't hold still.

Awesome pics mames! Now I want a "grown-up" camera! I love the monkey, is that a recent purchase? Where did you get it? Ayden has 3 monkeys but I think he could use another one since that will be his birthday party theme.
GL with the newborn photo shoot. You'll do great I'm sure!
LOVE IT! Such a cute idea to take pics of the stuffed animals.
I will get this camera by May. I will get this camera by May...
KB, trust me, I was not so patient for three years now.

Stuffed animals make cuter subjects than my fake yellow flower in a vase. lol. So much to learn! I hope I don't eff up these pics. I've only ever shot an amateur b-pic session with a DSLR for my bff last year. Bpics and babies are a bit different.

Here are some easy poses that we used. If she has a Boppy, they are perfect for support. We just covered it with a white cloth and then a blanket my aunt crocheted. We have also used solid black and red cloths.

I am completely obsessed with that monkey picture.
I think all of the pictures are great, but I seriously love the first one.
