Well hello there, May '08ers
I keep having a love/hate thing with the Nest and I'm sorry I've been MIA. I wish more of you were on Twitter so I could keep up. Did I miss anything?
For those of you who aren't on Twitter, I landed a consulting gig by some miracle. One of DH's contacts referred me when a company asked him to do some acquisition analysis work. He used to do it for them but since he has his own private equity firm now, he sent the work my way. Yay!!!
In other news, I am a huge slacker when it comes to preparing for the baby. I really need to get my butt in gear and clean out our 2nd bedroom so I can finally order furniture and get it ready before I am too big to want to do anything. And, for your viewing pleasure, here's my belly pic. I am sad that my boobs are still outpacing my belly right now.

Everyone carries differently. You look great! Good luck with the consulting job! You will have fun picking out furniture and getting the room ready when you get to it. It makes it a lot more real for sure.
Aww so cute and I agree tiny. But Thor's right everyone carries differently and I had extra fluid so I was much bigger...you'll be happy later on haha
Picking out the furniture and bedding is the best part but I think I slacked like you up until I knew what I was having and then got into gear.

As far as the consulting job goes, I signed one piece of paper and have not heard anything since. I hope they contact me soon with some stuff.
You look great! I feel like I woke up one day and was like, holy sh*t! That is definitely a baby belly. It doesn't move when I suck in anymore, hahaha!
And don't feel bad about being a slacker. We are too! I haven't bought a single item for this baby yet, let alone furniture. But in my defense (not really because I am a horrible procrastinator!) we're waiting on the closets to get finished so we can paint and that won't be until after the weekend so I've got a few days yet to use that excuse.
And congrats on the job!!
