Outfit help

Ok, so they are currently predicting that H's flight will be in SUPER early in the morning. Right now it is set for 0130. My neighbor and I (her H is on the same flight) are going shopping this weekend. Keeping in mind the early time and the fact that
I will not likely want to get incredibly dolled up, what do you think of this outfit?

Skinny jeans with black suede over the knee boots similar to these http://www.zappos.com/call-it-spring-sheingold-black-nubuck

with this top http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=34611&vid=1&pid=813979

Maybe a dress with some tights? I'm kind of at a loss. I am open to buying some new clothes though...

Re: Outfit help

  • i LOVE the boots! and the cardigan! i think it would be super cute! i'm not super sold on the gap shirt, though. but i don't have much style, so i wouldn't pay much attention to me not liking something. i think it would look cute with just a simple cami underneath.

i think that given the time of day/night, jeans are the way to go!

Thanks to our wonderful RE our family is complete!

  • Jeans - yes.  Boots -yes.  Cardigan - yes.  The tank top?  Eh, I'm not so sure.  It looks like it wouldn't fit right.  I agree with CCH, a simple cami would be good, maybe one with a little lace across the top.

  • The only concern I have about just a cami is the cardigan hits mid waist. I thought a regular (aka not longer style) would look awkward? If I do wear a cami, what color? White/cream?

Before I read anyone else's response, I was already thinking love the boots, jeans are perfect, the cardigan is super cute, but not a fan of the top at all. I don't have any better suggestions, but that's my 2?.

  • I'm sad no one likes the top! I love it. I guess this shows how much of a fashionista I am not.

  • I agree that a cami or plain tank under that cardigan would be super cute. I'm not a fan of the Gap tank or the boots, but I tend to wear looser slouchy boots, so that's definitely a personal opinion (they balance out my hips lol).
  • I agree with the other girls. I think the cardigan is enough to only have a long cami under it.

    and I loove the boots.

I like the boots and cardigan with jeans and I actually like the top! I think it would look way cuter on a real person than the model - but I'm kind of a weirdo.

What about a tank like this?

That style typically looks super cute on. And a disclaimer - I tried to search for a lacy cami, but didn't see anything suitable for public viewing, hahaha
