What do you think of these shoes?

I have a gift card to Scheel's, so I thought I'd put it towards a splurge on some new Keen's. My current pair is 6 years old and holding up amazingly well considering I wear them almost daily from May to September, but I'm tired of the color. Then I saw these Danskos:

Do they look too awkward for running around all summer in? I know they'd be comfortable, I've worn their leather shoes to work (I'm on my feet all day) for years now, but would the heavy heel look odd? (Especially to those of you who know me and my body shape)

I have concerns on how they would look with shorts or capris. I think they would be ok with pants, but the shoe may be a little heavy to wear with shorts. Danskos are great shoes and VERY comfy!!!

I was browsing at scheels the other day and noticed keens had really cute flat shoes besides their sandals. Have you seen those? I thought about getting a pair because I've heard so many things about Keen's.

I agree they're not my style. I think you can find something cute & comfortable that would look good with capris & shorts too.

Keen's are adorable! But 'denim' looking shoes aren't my style.

I would go sans heel if I were you. I know that heel was small and I'm sure they'd still be comfy, but it A) lends yourself to a trip (if you're accident prone like me) and doesn't seem very sneaker-ish.

Now you make me want to get some Keen's! Actually, now you make me wish I had a GIFTCARD to get some Keen's

It's only a $25 GC, so only makes it hurt a little bit less

Thanks for talking me out of them. I think I'm just going to ahead and pick out a new style & color of Keens.

I was actually going to get some for Nicholas, but of course his size is a $10 jump in price from the next size down. I can't justify $50 for shoes he'll only wear a few months.

Cardinal sin, momma! I'm learning early that we rarely use our gift cards on US. So do it. Get yourself some new shoes, you'll love them and use the hell out of them
