Bathtub Q.

Me again :) I've been meaning to ask this. Caroline is growing out of her rubber ducky tub, getting too long. I don't feel like she is ready to go in the deep end and start going in the tub with nothing else. It's cast iron and just worries me. In the Step Ahead magazine they offer a tub for up to 24 months but no measurements. Just wondering what you all have done, if there is a good tub for older kids etc. out there you like. I don't really like those seats that you stick to the bottom of the tub since they don't ever seem to really stick.

 Thanks again :)

Re: Bathtub Q.

  • Abby's in a regular tub with a suction mat on the bottom.  Will those not work on cast iron?

  • If she's outgrown the ducky tub, I think you should move her to the big tub.  Get a non-slip mat for the bottom.  Helen loved it when we moved her to the big tub because she had so much more room for her toys!

  • Yeah, I was thinking of getting a mat. She just stands and clings to the sides so much I just see her head smashing into the side. Of course, that could also be b/c she had 3 knots on her head this week from falls LOL
