Ever have a why moment?
I told a coworker a week ago that I could work her shift (7:30-12) on top of mine (12-5), basically thinking the extra hours would help us out (and I can't seem to say no unless it's to the cat). So, here I sit, ready except I need to do my makeup, hair, and throw my shoes on, and all I can think is that wonderful husband of mine is currently rolling over in bed in his sleep - a place I would desperately love to be right now.
Ever have one of those "why did I agree to this" moments?

I do not miss working 8am-9pm Agreeing to those shifts were a HUGE why moment.
I've learned since then, so now I have no problem saying no. Unless of course it's my boss asking. I'd like to keep my job, so I say yes to her.
