I was reading on another board about nicknames, and wondered if you ladies have any... Full name, and then any nn people refer to you as. Do you have any peeves about what they call you?

Re: Do you have a nickname?
No
One friend and my dad sometimes call me Hol, but that's it. DH doesn't either.
That is why we want to pick a name for our phantom baby something that lends itself to nicknames.
Julia - Jules, Ju Ju Bees (when I was little)
I am just not a fan of being called Julie. I get it all the time from a lady at work because her daughter's name is Julie. It's a pretty name, but it's not mine.
full name Paige
nns are Paigey, P, and PBJ
ETA: I like all my nns.
Brit, B, Britty, Bert
My biggest peeve is when people have worked with me for a while and still use my full name. I'm not sure what it is about it that makes sort of cringe. Weird? Maybe it's just the feeling of "I've thought we've moved past the formality of it all..."
I never had a nickname growing up-- in high school, a few friends called me Sheep (long story).... My college friends call me Mauggie. My friends in Americorps called me Magder (boston accent-- my mom actuallly adds an R to the end of my name so they were making fun of that).
My family was very anti-nicknames. DH just likes to butcher my name for the hell of it.
My brother called me De-de when we were younger.
Most of my friends, my brother, JT's side of the family and co-workers called me Jenn, but to my parents I will always and forever be only Jennifer.
Books read in 2011: 111
Books read in 2012: 100
my read shelf:
Allie, or Al. Professionally I go by Allison but a few of my friends call me that as well. Only my brother and sometimes Andy call me Al. I think it sounds funny if someone that only refers to me by Allison calls me Allie and vice versa.
Someone tried calling me Allie-cat once and I hated it.
Kristen but I go by Krissy or Kris. I don't answer to Kristen.
I can't stand when people call me Kristy. I've also had 2 people tell me that Krissy is a little girls name and I should be Kristen or Kris in the professional world.
2012 Reading Challenge
not really. I get called Em sometimes, and my teammates usually call me by my last name since there's 3 emilies (one is Emily, the other one and me use our last names).
I HATED Em in middle school - "its a LETTER not a NAME" hahaha. I don't care now.
Blog
Brian has called me lots of things: "Blue" for my blue eyes is most common. "Poopers" just don't ask. But mostly he calls me Mary.
My dad says my name with an accent, so it sounds like "marie" and I call him papa(with an accent).
BIL calls me Maria b/c Spanish is his first language.
And Elena calls me "Mo-ee." That's my favorite
I don't mind any of these. I can't think of any nn that I haven't liked.
Blog
Just plain ol' Kasi or Kas, short for Kasondra.
Some of my friend's parents call me Huerra, which means white girl, because I'm so light skinned. That has now been passed on down to Suri too.
CRAFTY ME
my read shelf:
There's not a lot you can do for a nn for Sarah, but in college I was Say or Rah-Rah and at the camp where I worked it was always Sarah D (and those friends still call me Sarah D, even though I'm Sarah B now).
A few friends till call me Say. Thank GOD Rah-Rah got left in the dorm days. And DH calls me Diego (don't ask, but I assure you it's not because it's a Spanish boys' name!).
