For those of us nesting at work.....
What are your co-workers doing today to annoy you?
One of the history teachers at our school had a paper for his students that said "Letter's home from WWI" The unnecessary apostrophe was driving me crazy. Our secretary is unnecessary apostrophe happy too. How can we expect the kids to use apostrophes correctly if the adults around them cannot?
Also, I share a cart of 10 laptops (for student use) with a teacher across the hall. When my kids are done with them, they are all shut down and plugged in properly. I was just over there and I think only 3 of the computers are plugged in (2 of which I plugged in) and there are cords spilling out everywhere. Make the kids put them away right!
Ugh....I just had to vent. But feel free to vent about aggravation at work!

I'm just annoyed by the one person who ISN'T here today.
The guy who works for me. Ugh.
He knew we were going to be doing a lot of hardcore moving of stuff today (we are rearranging 3 computer labs today!) and of course his wife calls at 8am to say he won't be in today because he'e pulled a muscle in his back and can't get out of bed. Yeah. Very convenient.

I have a couple.
1. I do not have a classroom. My office is in the gym. Well the gym teacher has his freaking music blaring! While our students are taking their ISTEP test! How stupid can you be? You know our jobs depend on how well they do on this test!
2. This same teacher repeatedly calls me by my first name in front of students...all the time! I am trying to not let it annoy me, but I feel it is a sign of disrespect. I call you Mr. so and so in front of students so I feel you should do the same for me. It just grates me!
3. I walked into my first class all excited to try something new and I mention to the teacher what I was going to do. Her response? "Oh. Good luck getting them to cooperate." Thanks for the vote of confidence...ugh!
That is all for now, but then again I am only halfway through my day. Hope you ladies are having a good day

I have a constant battle with my translation department (hooray for two official languages!). Every time I send something with a specific deadline, they try to tell me they can't do it within the timeframe. Today I told them that it was unacceptable and they caved
Also, the woman in the office next to me chews like a cow and brings carrot sticks every day. Even if I close my door, I can hear her through the wall.
