So, we bought a motorcycle.
I guess I should say J bought a motorcycle. I mean I was involved, but it is mostly for him. He had one years ago, and got rid of it to buy a four wheeler. He goes to pick it up tomorrow. With the way gas prices are going, I think I better get one to ride to work.

Very cool. I assume you're planning on riding with him?

Cool!
I never have either. Never really had the opportunity, though.

I'm glad you're excited about it.
Personally, I'm terrified of motorcycles after witnessing a handful of bad accidents (then again, I've witnessed a handful of bad car accidents and it doesn't phase me -- trust me, I know I'm being a hypocrite).
But, if you like and enjoy them, then Congratulations! I think that's awesome, especially since you got a good deal.
Congratulations! How exciting. Just make sure you guys wear all the protective clothing. You might even want to take the motorcycle safety course yourself. Even if you are just riding on the back, it would be good to know and probably make you feel more comfortable.
DH has two motorcycles. One go-fast and one vintage (both Ducati) that he is restoring. I really want to get a scooter for when he finishes the vintage bike, but he said I can't even think about it until I take the class. Fortunately his go-fast bike only has one seat, as I don't think I would feel comfortable on the back of it.
