Happy Friday!! Whatcha up to?!
I really thought this one may never come...it's been a long week! What are you plans for this weekend, if any?
Re: Happy Friday!! Whatcha up to?!
I agree long week! Especially since it was the first in a while that I worked 5 full days, no bad weather!
Tonight we are taking my niece and nephew to a minor league hockey game. Its "Pink at the Rink" so the ice is pink and they love that. They will be spending the night and most of the day at our house tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the big March Birthday family dinner. We have a lot of March b-days so we all go out one night to one of the nicer restaurants in town. I also am going to the baby shower of one my good friends. I won't know anyone there except her and her mom so it will be awkward, but there's no way I would miss it.
So far, Sunday looks free, looking forward to it!
We don't have definite plans for tonight, maybe a movie or dinner out b/c tomrw morning we have to be up early. Tomrw we're taking our FG & RB to a neighborhood "kids party" and after that going on a brewery tour (that DH literally signed us up for 7 months ago, it's that popular).
Saturday night is a going away party for friend for Bachelorette and then hopefully rest/errands on Sunday. Although, we applied to a "talent" company for animals for print ads and commercials and they said to bring Oscar in for an interview...so if we decide to go ahead with it, we'll have that appt on Sunday.

Me too. Between vacation time, sick days and snow days, the last time I worked a full week (aside from the week I was in Jordan) was the week of January 3. It's been rough. Although I am leaving at 2 today, so at least there's that.
We are headed up to Bumblef*ck, NH tonight, because we are (hopefully!) bringing home a pooch tomorrow. It's about a 3 hour drive, so we decided to stay over tonight and save me from driving for 6 hours in one day. We booked a room at a nicer hotel with a bar, so we'll probably hang there tonight. Tomorrow morning, we'll do a little outlet shopping, and then we get to meet the dog at 1. Hopefully, it'll work out! And if it does, I suspect we'll spend most of the day on Sunday trying to keep him from freaking out.
Chistie - love the big bday dinner! I always enjoy when a lot of the fam gets together, so fun.
Hannah - please take the pup and then let us know how it goes! Let your first son be a fame wh0re lol
Tonight is recovery night for me. I'm worse today than yesterday and I really need to get better quick so super early to bed tonight.
Tomorrow we are doing the first round of bday celebrations for Mike. His parents and sis are coming down and my parents and bro are all meeting us at a local place for a really nice dinner. Then back to our house for cake. I'm excited, as long as I feel better!
Sunday is more cleaning out the grandparents houses. Bleh. Hoping to get it completed since it sucks!
Ooo! Adopting or breeder? Pics?! Congrats and GL!

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermHannah, we're getting him from a breeder - my friend is a professional handler/breeder (goldens and dachshunds), and breeder is a friend of her mom's. We were going to go the shelter route, but when I asked my friend about being a reference for us, she called me about this dog, and he sounds like a good fit for us. We weren't concerned with breed (though my husband would love a bulldog), but with temperament. He's an 18-month old Chinese crested named Jack. No current photos, but he's the first puppy on the left in the second photo here. Hopefully, it'll work out. My husband has already nicknamed him "Jack-zilla" and is planning to make some home movies of him destroying things.
Tonight we are going to see some friends.
Tomorrow Steve works 6am-2pm and I need to get my oil changed while he is at work. After he gets off, we are going grocery shopping, to dinner, and then seeing The Green Hornet in 3D (this is our first 3d movie, I got the living social deal the other day and got both tickets for $9!)
Sunday we are helping Steve's dad clean out his parents house to get it ready to sell, and might be buying a king size bed from them (they are in an assisting living home right now). Then we have small group Sunday night.
Good luck with the puppy, Erica! I really hope it works out for you and can't wait to see pics. Puppies are just to stinking adorable
Christie- How fun!! That's how May is for us and birthdays.
Niki- Good luck w/packing. It's such a pain in the butt, but nice to know you won't have to do again anytime soon.
Kearstin - Poor thing! Theraflu isn't helping?? Chug some OJ! Haha, and yes, we're totally fine with AWing our dog
Erica - Awesome! Cute pic, it's crazy how small that they are.
Megan - Have you got your tix already? I thought I saw somewhere the livingsocial isn't valid for 3D...if that's not true, that may change our plans for tonight!

I bought and printed them yesterday!! They were regular price $14.00 each and the deal was for up to $30 for the two tickets. They charged a $2.50 convience fee, so we had to pay $0.50 on our credit card, which I think was a little ridiculous.
But I had no problems getting the 3D tickets with the deal!

I've been crazy busy prepping for my BFF's bridal shower on Saturday and for having a bunch of people over to our house. The cleaning is done, but I still have to finish making the goodies, which I will get on after I get off work. The weekend is going to be pretty busy with the bridal shower during the day on Saturday and the bachelorette and passion party that night. Gonna be cleaning up Sunday after everybody leaves.
On another note, I had a meeting today and am going to be paid (Yay!!!) for the show I am helping on and might be helping (and getting paid) for the next one. I also have another interview with another theatre next week!
Tonight, we are down to only one child for the evening. Oldest daughter and foster daughter both have to work and middle daughter is rehearsing for her show tomorrow...more about that in a second. Our son has no activities planned, so he decided to make his incredibly tasty stuffed pork chops for dinner...only one kid in the house AND I don't have to cook? Is it my birthday?!?
Tomorrow's plans are to attend the Foreign Language Festival (FLF) at middle daughter's school. This is seriously my favorite school-related event of the year. All the kids at her school who are taking a foreign language host a carnival and cabaret show that is really great quality, considering these are all high school kids. Their participation is a major part of their grade, and it's a whole lot of fun! My kids go to the same high school where I graduated, and it always makes me nostalgic to go back there. I took French, and I can remember how cool FLF was for us, too...I was really sad thinking this would be Hannah's last one, but then I remembered that our son Dominic is taking Spanish, so I get 4 more FLF's yet...BONUS!!
(In related news, yes, that's right, my Deaf kid speaks German as well as English, and probably better than most hearing kids...she also has a better GPA than most of her fellow students who can hear...take that, judgmental stereotypical soccer moms!)
