Re: Weekly Weight Loss Check In
This morning: 130.6 lbs.
This evening: Probably around 132 lbs. at least (I didn't even consider weighing myself.. fast food was my only option today)
Can I be on the exception list for total weight loss... I'll be gaining weight like a crazy person and will feel horrible if mine keeps increasing haha.
I think an exception can be made for you, Faith
Weight loss for the week: 1lb (I'm retaining water like nothing else, so I'm hoping my weight will go down even more next week)
As far as healthy snacks go, I'm really loving Fage 2% Greek yogurt mixed with blackberries and walnuts this week. It's super delicious and incredibly filling.
ETA: Goal weights
Week 1: 1lb lost
Goal: lose 40lbs, 39 more to go
Count me in-
Down 3 lbs from starting weight on Monday. Woohoo. Honestly I have been cutting out the carbs to start and sticking to 1000-1200 calories a day. I am taking a hiatus from drinking as well. My stress level is thru the roof and I shouldn't drink when I am stressed so I think that cutting those calories will help eventually too.
I have our belated V-Day dinner tomorrow and I am planning on eating whatever I want including dessert. So my plan is to get up and get 45 mins on the bike and a couple of videos in for exercise.
I am toying with the idea of WW but think I will go as long as I can on my own with sparkpeople and pick up there when I get stuck to mix things up.
Should we post our overall goals too?
Start 25 lbs
3.4.11 3 lbs lost
Goal 22 to go!
I have our Vday dinner tonight (a buffet!) and since I have a cold I didn't go to the gym. But, I plan on taking the dog for a nice long walk instead. I was also toying with the idea of WW, but I'm going to stick with myfitnesspal for now and try to be good about tracking.
Edit due to not posting weight:
1 pound down
19 left to go!
I love the idea of posting a goal as well - for the sake of comfort lets make it " ___ total lbs lost, and ___ lbs to go" This way no one has to post their weight if they arent comfortable doing so.
I lost .8 lbs this week - though I didnt specifically weight myself at the beginning of the week I sort of estimated from what I weighed the last time i weighed myself so I could have had a higher starting weight in actuallity. For accuracy's sake I'm going to stick with my .8lbs lost. 15.2lbs to go.
I'll wait till the end of the day to give some more people a chance to post and then I'll combine a list of everyone participating and their total lbs lost so far, as well as ther goal lbs to lose. Faith I'll list your name as a participant with "happily gaining a baby" instead of weight loss/goals.
Oh and my new snacks for this week are ranch or dill veggie dip (from a powder pack) made with fat free plain greek yogurt instead of sour cream - its delish! My exact recipe is 1/4 C. Yogurt and 1/4 tsp. Dip Mix...you can always add a little more dip mix if you'd like but when I did 1/2 tsp. of dip mix it was a bit much. I am also really enjoying the Chobani Champions Honey Nana and Verry Berry yogurts - they are greek yogurt for kids so they come in a smaller container and taste so yummy (still no artificial flavorings or sweeteners)

I didn't record my weight last week (I'll start recording now), so I'm not sure if I gained or lost any this week. It was relatively the same within a few tenths if I recall.
I have lost 5 lbs total since I started. My goal is 25 more by the end of the year.
I rode the exercise bike every day this week, so I feel really good about that. I've also started taking some vitamin supplements (prescription prenatal + other things) to hopefully resolve an LP deficiency and just get me healthier in general.
I'll be on a cruise next week, so I won't be able to update. I have a suspicion that I will gain some of those 5 lbs back... I'll try to be good.
I'm just starting this week so I can say starting weight 163 (weighed 160 for the wedding). It feels like this 3lbs has made such a huge difference! I'm determined though. The weather is finally getting nice so I went walking earlier in the week and will go out to do it again this weekend while I'm off. I'd LIKE to lose 10lbs if possible.
Come on ladies! We can do it!
