Yesterday, I interviewed for a teaching job. This was the third time that I met with the district. (Each time has been for a different position.) The interview was going well and I was receiving signs that they were interested in me. (They told me the salary, which they never do, told me they had not gotten many applicants..) Even before I walked in to sit down with the interviewers, the supt saw me and remembered me and said to me stick it to them or something like that....) Anyway, before I left, I said, " This was my third time meeting with you, I hope that if there is anything else you would like to know, I hope you will ask." They did not have any reply. I was not anticipating saying anything like that, I guess my nerves got the best of me and just came out. I said it with a smile, with no ill intentions. Do you think that could be taken the wrong way? I guess if nothing else, they keep on bringing me back for some reason and maybe it was my way of saying, you like me enough to interview me, this is who I am.
