You could probably hear a pin drop in my office right now, seriously the only sound I hear is the A/C running. All my team members are off "working" somewhere other then the office which means I'm surrounded by 7 empty desks. There are plenty of empty desks throughout the rest of the office, as well. On top of that nobody is Nesting! It's barely noon and I'm already bored.

We have a show loading in, so I've been mostly on stage this morning. At least it makes my Friday go faster . I'm tired, so I kind of wish I could just chill out at my desk, but that's is not in the cards.
On the plus side, a friend of mine is coming downtown for something, and she's bringing me boba! I wish I had the time to meet her for lunch, but unplanned boba is awesome!
Sounds like it. You've been a very busy woman lately.
I've always been one to need background noise no matter what I'm doing. As a kid I'd get yelled at for doing my homework in front of the TV. I never was able to convince my parents I wasn't actually watching the TV. I normally have music playing, but since I sit in basically a cubicle I have to keep it pretty low.
Amelia is going to be a big sister!
what's boba?
i thought you meant it was quiet on here, lol. i always have the radio on, too.
This is boba. It's a beverage (tea, coffee, or whatever) with these big tapioca pearls (that's the actual boba) in the bottom. You drink it with a really big straw so you suck up beverage and pearls at the same time, and the pearls are chewy. It's a multi-faceted drink experience. I LOVE the stuff, but some people really don't like it.
Oh, I was talking about how quiet it was on here, too! It's just quiet all around for me today.

Nooooo!!! Nothing's worse than having your surprise boba squelched. Usually living in small towns, I never experienced boba until I went to Taiwan. At first, I was weirded out by it, but it really appeals to my oral fixation! When I came back and lived in Fort Worth, I found plenty of places to get it. Now, back to no boba. It's hard being me, too.
Yes, same as bubble tea.
And, friend came through! She brought it to me, and I slurped it down in record time. So perfect.
