Car Accident :(

First of all DH and I are fine.

We got in a car accident this afternoon because some old lady was making a left hand turn and apparently thought traffic on the highway would stop for her. She ended up T-boning us and then we hit a concrete light post.

Fast forward 15 minutes and she is arguing with the police officer. She thinks it should have been our fault since we were "passing" another car that was in the left lane (we were in the right lane) and couldn't comprehend that she was at fault. Ridiculous.

Sorry vent over...ugh

Hope your Fridays are going better than mine!!

  • There really wasn't that much damage to our vehicle surprisingly. It is at the shop right now so we will probably find out on Monday how $$$ it will be. Unfortunately Michigan is a no fault state so we and our insurance pay for everything, but we can file to get up to $500 from her insurance.
  • Suck! So glad you're ok.

  • so glad you and H are fine. Hope it isn't too expensive and insurance does what it's supposed to do. There are way too many old people on the road that shouldn't be, sadly.
