INTRO :)
So I just recently discovered this board. I can't believe I never found it before. I was on the local knot board when I was planning my wedding and it was a huge help. nowadays I mostly hang out on What's Cooking or lurk on the GP or GP moms boards...
A bit about me:
I'm Jenny. Married 2/28/09 in Latham. I'm Canadian.
DH and I live in an apartment in Troy. Hoping to buy a house sometime this year and TTC soon after that.
I work in daycare. (lead teacher in an infant room)
I plan to join roller derby sometime soon (I'm going to a recruitment meeting for the Hellions of Troy this sunday!)
DH and I are huge RPI hockey fans (he's an alum) and we have season tickets. (GO RED!)
Other than that, we like to play poker, and enjoy team trivia.

well thank you. Union had an awesome season. hope it continues for them. Would love for an ECAC team to win the NCAAs-even better if its a local team!
Hello and welcome. I'm going to see the Hellions of Troy tonight. I've never been to roller derby before but I think it'll be fun.
Team trivia is fun too. Where do you go? I've been a part of many different teams all over the capital region.

I love the derby, one of my closest friends skates for the Albany team.
We do trivia on Wednesday nights at Holmes & Watson in Troy, and Tuesdays at Bacchus in Troy. DH actually hosts at Bacchus every second week (he alternates with someone else). Both nights trivia starts at 7 and goes until 9-930

I went to the derby Saturday night. They got their butts kicked by the killah bees from RI.
And I work at Union.
