Best dishwasher soap?
What do you think is the best combination of dishwashing soaps? I currently use Cascade Action Pacs in the closed compartment, Jet Dry in its dispenser, and nothing in the open compartment in my dishwasher, and it sometimes leaves white flakes and film on the dishes. Is there another brand that works better? And should I be using something in the open compartment?

We've had the best luck with Finish tabs with the little red ball; our glasses are cleaner than when we used Method powder. We don't use Jet Dry. Sometimes I toss the tab into the bottom of the DW rather than putting it in the closing cup.

I think it depends on your local water, particularly if you have well water.
I use either Cascade or Harris Teeter store brand. I put vinegar in the rinse aid dispenser.
