Spark People (Fit Chicks?)
Anyone try Spark People? I just joined. It seems like an advanced version of Loseit.com. They have sample daily meal plans, message boards, recipes, etc. You can also track how many nutrients you've eaten, instead of just calories.
Re: Spark People (Fit Chicks?)
I used it religiously to track my nutrition and fitness before my wedding, but that, naturally, tapered off afterward. I have used it again on and off and I do find it helpful if I've come across a new breakfast combo or something and want to see the nutritional value - like a new yogurt or a smoothie recipe or something. It gives me an idea of how I'm doing for the day and what I need more or less of.
I find with the exercise tracker, the pre-set options don't really follow a lot of what I tend to do - plus I'm super short and feel like the calories-burned never match up to what I would actually burn. It's good when I just want to feel like I'm reporting in on actually sticking to a workout plan, though.
