Happy Birthday Jacob!
He had his 1-year appointment yesterday:
21 lbs, 5 oz -- 25%
29" -- 10-25%; I'm happy that it's matching his weight; he was 80% height and 15% weight for a little while and that made me a little uncomfortable.
41 cm head -- 95% LOL!
He had a most excellent birthday party today with my girlfriends from college (they were my BMs), my parents and two local friends. My friends drove 1-3 hours, and I was so thrilled that they could celebrate with us. Two of them have infants -- one was 5 weeks old and I had forgotten how small Jacob was when he arrived in this world, compared to the "big" boy he is now. The other is a cute little 9 month old girl and they got along so nicely.
In true fashion, he chose today to debut his walking skills. Not one, not two, not three ... but 5 steps to Thom; and a few hours later, 4 steps to me. What a little AW!

Yay Jacob! Glad he had a wonderful birthday! I want to see some pictures of the birthday boy!
C's party was today and went amazingly well. Pics are on FB.
You guys are so good with getting his appointments right on the day. C's is next Friday. I already know he's 23 lbs from the appt. he had a week ago when he was sick.
And, wouldn't you know, C took 4 steps today after his party when we got home and were playing with his new toys! They like to do things similarly!
