Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Good morning, y'all!
How was everyone's weekend? Anybody do anything exciting? Is this going to be a good week?
I am so not looking forward to this week. I have to work extra everyday to cover for a girl out in training. Plus I have class 4 to 9 Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
I did have a good weekend though. J, my sister, and I went to Cincinnati for a concert Friday night and some shopping Saturday. Shopping was sort of a bust. I really wanted to get some new tennis shoes, but I couldn't find any I liked. I did get a nice new Fossil wallet and some new Bare Escentuals makeup.

How far are you from Cincinnati? I'm geographically dumb.
Weekend was decent. Finally got my meet my nephew (pics in blog), and I'm in love with him. But last night we got a freak foot of snow. I'm ready for spring.
I have to get immunized and flu shot-ed and pee tested tomorrow for my new job. Fun.

Good morning indeed!
I didn't have any appointments this morning at one of the Writing Centers where I work, so I don't actually have to be in to work until 10:30 a.m., which is nice. Of course, it's already 9:15 a.m. and I'm still in my PJs...so I should probably make this my only post before I get ready, huh?
This weekend was pretty crazy, but in good ways. On Saturday I went with my mom, my aunt, and my friend on the first leg of a "quilt store cruise," which is an event where 16 local quilt stores have extended hours, special prizes, and free patterns. Every one you visit gives you a stamp on a passport, and once it's full, you can be entered to win gift certificates, shopping sprees, or top-of-the-line sewing machines. Each store also has an individual basket prize with books, patterns, fabric, notions, etc.
On Sunday I spent the morning starting on a new quilt (pics in my blog) and the Sunday afternoon was spent looking at house stuff again. We hit some roadblocks with this current builder, but we're still staying optimistic that it will all work out when we're ready to go on contract/start our build out.
Okay, now I seriously should get ready for work...
