Good morning! How was your weekend?
I had a great weekend. Volleyball tournaments both days and my body, thankfully, didn't fall apart. Yesterday was particularly good, lots of tough games that kept our team on its toes, great girls to play with, and we came in second place out of ten teams. I burned a lot of calories this weekend and it felt good--well, minus the blisters on my feet and the general muscle achiness that's to be expected
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Good morning! How was your weekend?
Congrats on coming in 2nd! I love general muscle achiness after a good workout. It hurts in such a good way.
We had a great weekend. Friday night we stayed in, Saturday night we left DS with my mother and went out to dinner with DH's family (the first time we've left him with anyone) and yesterday we had breakfast at my mother's, and took a long walk because the weather was so great.
Yay for date nights, even after having kids! Sounds like it went well, which is great.
The one downside to having played in tourneys all weekend is that I wasn't outside all that much. It was worth the sacrifice though.
Good! We had nice weather and saw our friend's new hugormous house. I was almost a little sore the next day from climbing their 4 flights of stairs and walking all over it. It took me an hour and a half to tour. That is because I opened every closet and cabinet (luckily she didn't mind!)
We had a really fun Saturday. We went x-country skiing, and after getting over my fear of anything new I enjoyed it. But man am I sore! I walking around like a penguin because my hip and groin muscles hurt. We were so tired after we got home that we took a nap before getting ready for dinner.
The Melting Pot was great! We got the regular dark chocolate for dessert and it was seriously the best chocolate I've ever had. And if you've seen my blog you know my thing for chocolate, so for me to say it was the best chocolate, I'm not kidding around.
Sunday we just got groceries and sat around, mostly because I didn't want to move, haha.
Somewhere between 5,000 and 6,000 square feet. Their kitchen is the size of my entire house.
I got lost trying to find the 1/2 bath on the first floor. I remembered that it was near the garage entrance, but then quickly realized there are 3 garage entrances as it runs the length and width of the entire house on the ground level.
I've never been to the Melting Pot, but I may have to try it. Though part of me resents having to cook my own dinner at a restaurant, heh.
We had a really busy weekend. On Friday night, we drove up to North Conway, NH and stayed over. Saturday, we met a friend there for breakfast, hit the outlets, and picked up our new pooch! Meet Jack.
He's a 15 month old Chinese crested. And he's much cuter than that photo makes him look, I swear. That was taken at 6 am, when he was running up and down the hallway like a maniac. We have a lot of work to do with him, but we adore the bejesus out of him already. Yesterday, we spent most of the day getting him acclimated, and I am freaking exhausted. I would like another weekend, please.
*love*
There were 2 chinese cresteds in my dog's CGC class and they were so sweet!
You should come post on Pets. TBM over there has this breed and posts pix all the time!
How did you do leaving him???
My weekend was awesome! We had an amazing dinner with friends on Saturday night, and my best friend's baby shower was Sunday. She got so much awesome stuff, and it was so fun. It also was a little less annoying for me when people asked "so when is it your turn to have a baby?" because secretly I know I will be having one soon!
I was fine actually! It's weird that I didn't bat an eye at leaving him when he was a few weeks old with DH the first time, or leaving him with my mother now. But the first night he was in his crib, I cried myself to sleep! Hahaha
My first cycle off bcp, we weren't trying but we weren't NOT ttc, and I got my period AT a baby shower. No fun, I was a little bummed. How long til you go public? Soon, right??
ETA: I just saw your u/s post... I assume at the end of the week when you get bloodwork back?
That is great that you did so well leaving him.
Yup we are coming out of the closet at the end of the week! I am so excited!
