I am concerned for others

I'm about to punch someone in the mouth, and I haven't even come into contact with anyone besides DH, DD and the sitter. The only one of them that made me even a little mad was DH, because he drank my coffee (long ridiculous story involved with that, but basically, I made just enough for me to have a cup and fill up my thermos and he drank a cup).

My door is shut. And the door to the hallway (my office is through my co-workers office).

Carry on.

Re: I am concerned for others

  • Yuck. I don't like Monday mornings that start like that. I hope you're day gets better!! (((sending you some of the strangely optimistic/good mood I have for a rainy Monday morning))))

  • Today doesn't feel like a Monday to me because I'm going to see clients. Although I did wake up on the wrong side of the bed due to several bad dreams. So we'll see how it goes. Although my last appointment is with a 60 year old with cervical cancer. I'll be nice to her whether I like it or not.
  • I felt the same way this morning. I woke up in a decent mood, but one of my co-workers talked for a good 10 minutes right after I walked in the door. I just wanted a nice, quiet morning to answer my e-mails, not hold intellectual conversation before my first cup of coffee.

It's all quiet now though. :P

  • I hate Mondays in general. And mornings. And I just got a call from a crazy man potential client; it took me 10 minutes to get him the hell off the phone and make him understand we're not taking his case.
  • Try to snap on anyone that can't get you fired.

I'm a walking zombie this morning. I still haven't recovered from being in Florida last week.

  • I'm right there with you!  I started the day by waking up late.  And then quickly discovered AF has come to visit a week early.  To top it off, Amelia hasn't been feeling well, so now I have to figure out when I'm getting her to the doctor.

And I don't have a door to close!

  • I must say that my favorite thing about SAH and Rod working evenings is that he is a morning person and lets me be lazy until lunchtime (though I did have to change the massive poopy diaper this morning while he was in the shower).

    Mornings are the worst.

  • It's Monday.  I had to be here at 8am.  It's raining.

And, when I turned on Pandora, the first song it played for me was from my least favorite musical.  Way to start the day, Pandora.

  • I'm actually happy to read this thread.  I thought it was just me.

I woke up majorly late.  I got to school only to find out I was testing a group this morning AND tomorrow AND Wednesday.  I'm sorry but who the H decides that I have to test them just because they are SPED kids?  When can I teach?  Let's not even mention that I have ARD meetings that have to be had.  It's illegal not to have them (long story about law here).  Anyway, I told my principal I would test today but they have to find somone else for the other 2 days.  I have 6 grade levels to teach.

Ugh.  The week before Spring Break, the kids are on the worst behavior too.  It's miserable.  Maybe I should take Friday off but it's just a waste to do it....
