Hardwater Stains

Hi ladies,

I have been noticing that we keep getting hard water stains in our toilet and the bottom of the tub. As much as I try to keep up with it I can't seem to get clean all of the marks away especially the toilet. Any ideas of how to remove the gross stains.

Thanks!

Re: Hardwater Stains

  • CLR or Lime-A-Way.

FYI- This stuff puts out some serious fumes. Make sure your bathroom is well ventilated and/or you have a fan handy.

  • I'm having the same problem. We had a water softener put in 2 years ago, and still get hard water deposits everywhere! I'm going to call EcoWater to see if they have any suggestions.

Our shower gets reddish build-up, and our toilet bowl and tank get blackish-grey stuff. Ick. It's still on our dishes, too!

  • We use The Works products for our hard water stains. It's inexpensive and works great.
